Check in is 4 p.m. and check out is 11 a.m.
Can we check in early/check out late?
Sometimes, depending on whether we have back-to-back reservations. We want to make sure the house is perfect for every arrival, and that takes time. Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to an additional fee and must have prior approval of the owner or manager.
Why is housekeeping a separate fee?
Our housekeeping fee covers a portion of the cost of cleaning after you check out. Since it is a service that happens only once, whether you stay two weeks or three days, we charge it as a one-time fee.
Is daily housekeeping available?
Absolutely, please get in touch with us to discuss it.
Is the property suitable for children?
The house is best for older children, since it is not child-proofed, and we do not supply baby equipment. While many guests have stayed with toddlers and had a great time, we want parents to know that the pool is just steps from several sliding doors, including one in the “twin room.” Additionally, the house is landscaped with lots of cactus, so please take care with little ones who may be unable to resist touching them. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions regarding the suitability of the house for your family, we want to make sure everyone has a safe stay.
Do you have hair dryers?
Yes, each bathroom has a hair dryer. We also supply premium organic soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, cotton swabs and cotton balls.
Is the house handicap accessible? Suitable for guests that use walkers?
We do have bathrooms large enough for a wheelchair, and the interior of the house is level, but we are not ADA compliant. There are a few steps outside leading up to the house, and up to patios. For specifics please feel free to contact us.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, up to two dogs for an additional pet fee of $100. Sorry, due to guest (and owner) allergies, cats are not allowed.
Do you have a grill?
Yes, we have a very clean propane grill, tools and a spare propane tank.
How quickly will you return my security deposit?
Typically the week after your departure. The only time we will hold your deposit longer is if there is any question about utility usage or other fees (say, for example, our manager arrives and finds all the windows open and the air conditioner blasting.) We are fortunate to have responsible, thoughtful guests, and are usually able to return security deposits in full.
How can I hold my dates?
We do not hold dates until we have a rental agreement and deposit.
What if I need help? Is there someone local available?
Absolutely. Our house manager lives just minutes away and is always happy to help.
